Jewelry Artist Mariko Kusumoto

One of my favorite jewelry artists is an artist named Mariko Kusumoto.  Her work is absolutely amazing.  The web site Mobilia Gallery has a great selection and video..   She has a video that is stunning and a gallery of pictures that will be sure to inspire you.  I have added her image here in hopes you will go to the site and watch the video.

For those of you who are near Massachusettsm there will be a solo exhibition of eleven of the artist's works "Mariko Kusumoto: Unfolding Stories" at Fuller Craft Museum, Brockton, MA (www.fullermuseum.org) from May 22, 2010 to August 8, 2010. The artist will be giving a lecture at the Museum on June 27 and lifting the lid off one of the vitrines in the gallery to open one of her works for the audience. The exhibition travels to the Racine Art Museum in Racine, WI at a later date.
